About Lucy
I'm currently studying for my MSc at the Royal Veterinary College in London!
As an A*/A student at GCSE and A level, I know exactly what it takes to achieve amazing results. Studying Biology, Chemistry and Psychology for my A levels means I'm a science specialist and can help you develop the mindset and critical thinking you need to pursue a scientific career.
I have been tutoring with this site since 2019 and previously mentored students competing in the Jack Petchey SpeakOut! Enfield Regional Finals which I won in 2014 (check out my speech on youtube!)
When I work with a student I aim to improve your studying techniques and build your confidence as well as increasing your subject knowledge. This means we'll be using a whole variety of methods. I can relate to you more than other tutors, and I know that being at school can be extremely stressful, so my lessons focus on creating an effective but enjoyable learning environment.
I believe that any child can succeed with the right tools and support!

Supportive.Lucy was my classmate during sixth form we worked together in chemistry and she would help me after school. During A-Level chemistry Lucy helped me find better methods of revising and understanding questions that best suited me. She is a responsible person and has an amazing work ethic which would make her a great tutor. Having been working as a tutor myself for over a year now I know she can handle the pressures of the role and has the charisma to build confidence in young learners.
