About Jayme
I'm a Chicago-born, NYC-based filmmaker creating character-driven films. I attended Columbia University for my MFA in Screenwriting/Directing. My films mix scripted scenes with improv, actors with non-actors, to create films that feel totally organic and full of life.
I've worked at Columbia University and the New York Film Academy. My last film "Unlimited, Forever and Ever, No Matter What" premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival this year. The film is inspired by and starring my own mother and explores the emotional toll chronic pain has on a family.
My first-year film It’s Okay won Best Student Short at the Lake Placid Film Festival in 2023.
Along with Kamal Sehrawy, I'm a co-founder of the production company Double Vision, creating sensitive, funny, and hopeful films. We are currently embarking on our first feature film.
