About Danae
Hi there! I am an RN and certified Nurse Coach! I was an LPN for 3 years and have been an RN for 7 years. I have experience in peri-operative nursing, neuro-rehab home care, sub-acute rehab, long-term care, pediatric/school nursing, education, and a short stent in L&D.
Personally, I have completed studies in-person and online so I understand the unique advantages and challenges of each format. I have experience tutoring one-on-one and am currently working at Boise State University as a clinical adjunct faculty member in their School of Nursing. I have a passion for helping students learn and succeed, and becoming the best nurses around! I look forward to working with you!

You did it!! You finished your nursing program - that in and of itself is a HUGE accomplishment! CONGRATULATIONS! Now, you have one final step between you and becoming a licensed nurse, and I am here to support you as you take this final step.
In our sessions, I want to spend time getting to know YOU and making an individualized plan together to help you succeed. We'll focus on rounding out any knowledge gaps you may have prior to taking the NCLEX and tackle study/test-taking strategies so that you can confidently go into your board exam. We’ll not only work to use our in-session time effectively, but we’ll make a plan for success outside of our sessions too!
Topics we can cover:
- Test-taking strategies (specific to NCLEX/NGN styled questions).
- Test anxiety management/support.
- Study schedule to refer to outside of our sessions together (tailored to your availability and scheduled test date).
- Content review specific to your needs/challenges (dosage calculations, pharmacology, pediatrics, L&D, med-surg, critical care, etc).
I want to support you in the most effective way possible, so I am also available via messaging or text between sessions to my students.

Perfect! The best!
Perfect! Danae's help 100% helped me pass my NCLEX. I failed the first time and was so devastated and defeated. I went to Danae and not only did she help me build more knowledge, but she believed in me. And that 100% helped me believe in myself. I knew she was always there to help with my anxiety and talk about my study schedule. I couldn't have done this without her! She is the best.

- Great meeting with you today, Brittany! Good job hanging in there despite wifi and tech issues. Today we discussed what you have been up to since our last conversation. It sounds like your Archer session on Friday was really helpful in giving you some test taking strategies. We discussed some further test-taking tips and I sent you a couple links to look over in your own time (including prioritization, delegation, SATA questions, etc). We wrapped up our session by doing some practice questions together on prioritization.Danae's response :
Between now and when we meet again, here are some things you can review/focus on:
- Review the links I sent on test taking strategies/tips.
- Finish the quiz we started (the last link I sent you if you need that for reference) to put into practice doing some prioritization questions.
- Continue doing you module reviews with Archer.
- Complete any of the live review sessions you signed up for with Archer. Sounds like you really picked some helpful ones!
- Continue doing your practice questions each day (approx. 25-50).
Excellent! Danae is very competent, patient and provides excellent guidance in areas such as time management and test taking strategies. She assisted me in organizing my time and studying for my final examination. Rather than relying on what I had to provide, she came prepared with resources to discuss. I just wish that she gave me a heads up about what she'd need from me in advance so we didn't waste time with random online questions. Other than than that she is very knowledgeable and professional.

Danae is the best of the best, professionally and personally. She is brilliant and knows how to help people feel welcome, safe, understood and encouraged, and truly learn and remember. She knows what it takes to become a nurse and become an excellent one at that and also deeply understands how to help people make it there too. She is fun and trustworthy.
