About Mia
Hi! I’m Mia, a recent A-level student who has just completed Edexcel A-level Business and will be starting Business & Management at the University of Bristol in September.
I’m a friendly, approachable and patient person, and I really enjoy helping others understand things that they may initially find difficult. Having only recently completed my own A-levels, I understand the pressure that comes with exams and how frustrating it can be when you know the content but aren’t sure how to turn that knowledge into marks.
I achieved an A in A-level Business and have a strong understanding of the Edexcel specification and its exam style. I particularly enjoy helping students with exam technique, application, analysis and evaluation, as these are areas that can make a huge difference to your final marks.
I want my lessons to feel relaxed and supportive rather than intimidating. I’ll work at your pace and tailor sessions around the areas you personally find most challenging.
Outside of studying, I’m an equestrian and create content online, so I’m used to communicating with different audiences and making information engaging and easy to understand.
I’m really excited to start tutoring and hopefully help other students become more confident in Business and achieve the grades they’re aiming for!

I offer friendly and personalised Edexcel A-level and GCSE Business tutoring, helping students build their confidence, understand the course content and, most importantly, turn their knowledge into marks in exams.
Having recently completed Edexcel A-level Business myself, I understand how important it is to not only know the content but also know how to apply it to different business contexts, develop analysis and write strong evaluation. I can help with topics across all four Edexcel themes, as well as the specific exam skills needed for each paper.
Lessons can be tailored around exactly what you need, whether that’s learning a difficult topic from scratch, practising calculations, improving your 6, 10, 12, 20 or 24-mark answers, working on chains of analysis and evaluation, preparing for exams or creating a revision plan.
I particularly enjoy helping students understand how to approach longer-answer questions and how to use the information in the case study or extract effectively, rather than simply repeating what they already know.
Having recently sat the Edexcel exams myself, the specification, exam structure and revision process are still very fresh for me. I achieved an A in A-level Business and will be studying Business & Management at the University of Bristol.
My lessons are relaxed, supportive and tailored to your individual needs. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic or simply want to push your grade higher, I’ll work with you to identify what is holding you back and focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference to your marks.

Mia was a huge help when it came to improving my exam technique. I understood the Business content but struggled to turn what I knew into strong exam answers, particularly with longer questions.
