A Level Biology teacher with 12 years experience, tutoring online and in Stourbridge, specialised in building student confidence

I was taught by Tre (Teresa) for two years between 2012-2014 and she is my most memorable teacher.

Tre is incredibly kind and helped me progress not only as a student but also as a person. As someone who was a high achiever, even in a class of >20 people she was able to implement strategies to push my individual learning to the next level - and I can only imagine that her ability to do this is greater in a one-to-one setting.

She is able to explain complex topics in simple ways and considers different ways of teaching and explaining that suits different students needs. I now know that I am a person with dyslexia, but Tre was the first teacher who recognised that I learnt differently and was able to guide and help me to learn better. 



A few years on and I am now studying a prestigious PhD in Climate Change Modelling at the University of East Anglia. I believe that Tre’s encouragements enabled me to achieve more than I thought I was capable of in A-Level and still many years on, her advice often ringing in my mind, pushes me forward.

Everyone should have the opportunity to be taught be Teresa. She is an absolute gem!
