About Zoha
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students understand science.
I achieved Straight A*/A grades throughout my A-Level studies and have a particular interest in Biology and the life sciences. My strong academic background has given me a solid understanding of the Cambridge curriculum and the skills needed for effective examination preparation.
Alongside my academic achievements, I have experience mentoring and supporting younger students through my school's STEM and Biology activities. As a former General Secretary of the STEM Society and President of its Biology Division, I have been involved in organizing science-related activities, mentoring students, and encouraging younger learners to develop an interest in science.
As someone who has recently completed the Cambridge curriculum myself, I understand the challenges students face when preparing for O-Level examinations. I aim to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely, work through difficult concepts without pressure, and gradually become more confident in their abilities.
My lessons are structured, interactive, and adapted to each student's individual needs. Whether a student needs help understanding fundamental concepts, improving their exam technique, or practising past-paper questions, I aim to make every lesson productive and engaging.
I take my responsibility as a tutor seriously and strive to be patient, well-prepared, approachable, and consistent in every lesson.

I believe Biology is best learned by understanding concepts rather than memorizing pages of notes. My lessons are interactive, visual, and tailored to each student's learning style and level.
I use live explanations, diagrams, step-by-step problem solving, active recall, questioning, and Cambridge-style past-paper practice. Rather than simply presenting slides, I encourage students to explain concepts back to me, ask questions, and apply what they have learned to exam-style questions. I also identify weak areas and adapt each lesson accordingly.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes long, although I can adjust the duration depending on the student's age, level, and needs. Lessons generally include a short recap, teaching of the new concept, guided practice, and a brief review or quiz at the end.
I am an A-Level student with Straight A* grades and a strong academic background in Biology. I have also held leadership roles in my school's STEM and Biology activities, where I have helped younger students with science learning and mentoring. My recent experience with Cambridge examinations also allows me to understand the challenges students face from a learner's perspective.
My lessons are primarily for O-Level/IGCSE Biology students, particularly students who want to strengthen their concepts, improve their exam technique, or become more confident with Biology. I welcome students of different abilities, whether they need help building their foundations or want additional practice before examinations.
My goal is not simply to help students memorise Biology, but to make them understand it well enough that they can confidently explain it and apply it in unfamiliar questions.
