What I appreciate most is that Mike gives clear explanations and breakdowns of ideas and compares them to real-world examples, which helps me understand them.

After certain tests or mock exams might not have gone as planned, I was always able to send in the questions where I lost the most marks, and Mike was always willing to help straight away, which made me realise how important exam practice is as well as learning the content.

I know Mike from boost physics tutoring as I used to be one of his students and I can confidently say that he’s a really good tutor for a couple of reasons. Firstly, he explains topics extremely well but also in a way that his students can understand easily, using many examples and visual cues. Secondly, if by chance somebody doesn’t understand he’s always ready to go through the question slowly, step-by-step and he even simplifies it if needed by using relevant analogies which is really useful. Mike is an excellent tutor. He supported my son through his A-level Math and Physics exams, he made an effort to understand where my son’s weak areas were and provided tailored lessons with revision guidance for each lesson.
