About Amy
Having come from another country myself, I know the difficulties of learning new language especially in tense and stress atmospheres. Many pupils during their Spanish GCSE will struggle to enjoy the subject and more so feel exam stress and confusion - as someone very passionate about helping others and learning modern foreign languages, I want to reduce this stress to my greatest ability.
I mentor currently in person and find it exceptionally gratifying and so I decided to broaden my horizons and begin to offer online tutoring too.

I provide specialised tailored lessons to your specific needs. After getting to know your weaknesses, strengths I create lesson plans and PowerPoints filled with tasks which we will go through together to enable you to grow your skill set. I have experience of doing this and my mentees have said they’ve found it effective in their learning, their in-school teacher has even told them they’ve improved greatly.
My lessons are aimed at pupils in the UK aged 11-16.
I have an advanced understanding of KS3 and GCSE Spanish content, having achieved an A*/8 at GCSE and currently studying it at A Level at a school where I am a Languages Prefect.
A typical session will range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes on an online call with me with a PowerPoint that I’ll present, I will always be there on the call to talk, listen and offer support even when you’re doing independent tasks set by me.
