As a tutor, I have developed a good relationship with my students, specialising in working with students with Special Educational Needs including extreme social anxiety, autism and dyslexia. Although challenging, this has been extremely rewarding as I’ve been able to see directly the impact I have on my students’ lives. This job has helped me develop my communication skills in a unique way, as I have had to design creative, new methods to get through to my students, whether it be through teaching maths with pavement chalk or using movie scenes to explain how to write a story.
Here are some of my qualifications: - DBS Cleared (Enhanced)
- Safeguarding Level 1
- Mentoring VTQ
- First Aid Level 3
- 7 GCSE’s grades 6-8, including Maths, English and Science - Currently studying A Level French, Biology and Media
