About Mariana
I am a supportive, approachable and practical person with many years of experience working with young people and adults in the areas of learning, motivation, confidence and personal development.
Through my work with students and families, I have seen how easily people can become overwhelmed, lose confidence or feel stuck when they are unsure of their next step. I enjoy helping people make sense of where they are, recognise their strengths and find practical ways to move forward.
My coaching style is relaxed, encouraging and non-judgemental. I am a good listener, but I also believe in moving beyond simply talking about a problem. Together, we look at what you would like to change, what may be getting in the way and what realistic steps you can take towards your goals.
I particularly enjoy working with people who struggle with motivation, procrastination, organisation, confidence or feeling overwhelmed. I understand that the same approach does not work for everyone, so I adapt my sessions to the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit a particular method.
I offer sessions in both English and Afrikaans and aim to create a space where you can be yourself, speak openly and work towards meaningful change at your own pace.

My approach to life coaching is supportive, practical and completely personalised to the individual. I believe that people often already know where they would like to go, but may feel overwhelmed, stuck, unmotivated or unsure about how to get there.
During our sessions, we will talk through your current challenges, identify what may be holding you back, and break bigger goals into realistic, manageable steps. I provide a relaxed and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly, explore different perspectives and find practical strategies that work for you.
My approach is particularly suited to people who struggle with motivation, confidence, procrastination, organisation, feeling overwhelmed or simply not knowing where to start. I also enjoy helping people recognise their strengths rather than focusing only on what they believe they are doing wrong.
A typical session may include discussing a current challenge, identifying patterns or obstacles, setting achievable goals and deciding on practical actions to work on before our next session. Sessions are conversational and flexible rather than following a rigid one-size-fits-all programme.
I work with both adults and young people and can conduct sessions in English or Afrikaans.
Whether you are working towards a specific goal, going through a period of change, or simply feel stuck and need some direction, my aim is to help you move forward one manageable step at a time.
