About James
I have been teaching since 2002 with experience teaching every age group from three to seventy-three. I have taught in three countries working for private language institutes, international schools, public schools and universities. I am all of the following: ESL / EFL teacher, Business English teacher, Teacher trainer, IELTS Trainer.

My teaching methodology is based on the Communicative Language Teaching Method. This is based on a student-centred approach. I have a Certificate of Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA), and I am currently a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Langauge) Trainer. Both these methodologies focus on the 80/20 rule which encourages students to speak 80% of the time while the teacher speaks for 20%. Lessons are based around activities that engage and challenge the student while remaining fun.
