About Liv
Englis has been my favourite subject since Primary School, but as the level got more intense I realised that I couldn't rely on passion for reading or writing to get the best English results possible. I want to tutor to show students that specific skills are incredibly important in being able to analyse anything from Shakespeare to an Emily Dickinson poem. My biggest goal is that my students end lessons with a new-found liking for English, along with confidence.

Lessons are a minimum of one hour, and will be tailored to what areas of English a student is struggling with. I ranked first in English by the end of year 10 - meaning I can help any student from K-10 in the NSW English Curriculum.
IB SPECIFIC (HL LITERATURE):
I can help with preparation for Paper 1, the Individual Oral and the Higher Level Essay. I can edit these assignments for a student and spend a lesson going through feedback. My approach to all levels of English is to develop a student's understanding of what a marker is looking for in analysis - and how to achieve that in simple ways.
