About Francesca
I work in the field of contemporary art but my other passion has always been Italian and foreign literature, especially French. I had the opportunity to live in France and England for my higher education and I had the opportunity to further study English and French. For some years I have been giving private lessons because it stimulates me a lot to find a teaching method suitable for each student I work with. What I prefer about this job is the comparison with different people and the mutual growth that this brings.

I prepare lessons designed on the needs of the individual student, using textbooks but also other sources. I believe in interactive teaching, based on conversation and comparison. During the first lessons I try to understand which is the method that best suits the student to make the lessons as effective as possible. A typical lesson begins with an explanation followed by exercises, while the second part of the lesson is based on the application of the part of the program just covered, often through conversation. I always leave some exercises to do, based on the commitments of the person I'm working with, which I then correct and discuss at the beginning of the next lesson. I often ask to watch films / series or listen to music in the language, because I think it is useful to approach the language applied to everyday life. I taught Italian and English to elementary school children, up to students in the first year of university. I gave French lessons mainly at high school level. I am also available for small conversation groups. I've been teaching both face-to-face and online for over a year now, usually through Zoom or Google meet.
