Paul is funny and professional.

I've been taking lessons with Paul for almost a year and I would highly recommend him. He's been very engaging in each lesson and tailors the lessons to your needs. He's friendly and knowledgeable. Communication is easy and if on rare occasions we have to rearrange a lesson he's accommodating.

Paul has been my teacher for over a year now and he is fantastic. He is full of ideas and will customize the lesson just for you. Highly recommend.

Taking lessons from Paul is an absolute game changer for me! He has a genuine (and contagious!) passion for French, for teaching and has a great sense of humor to keep everything engaging. His lessons are fun and lighthearted, yet informative and concise. He has tons of self-made visual aids, additional resources and you can really tell how much effort he puts into making French easier to learn, for anyone and at any level.

Furthermore, Paul demonstrates incredible commitment to making sure his students really understand what he's teaching, while remaining patient with silly/repeated mistakes (which he will correct in a positive and encouraging way). We had a lesson on a subject that was quite convoluted and Paul made sure to revisit the topic many weeks later to ensure that he had a good explanation for the topic going forward. For any lessons I struggled with (not a lot, honestly), Paul made sure to circle back with a better explanation.

Paul's techniques are effective and his lessons are very well designed for both progress and entertainment. Anecdotally, I started taking French lessons with Paul about 10 months ago and I'm already able to understand the locals and read/write French pretty comfortably (with some help). Highly recommend Paul if you are serious about learning French, and especially if you want to have fun while learning!

I have been taking weekly French lessons with Paul for almost a year, and have progressed a ton in grammar, speaking, and understanding. He personalizes each session based on the topics I need extra help with, and mixes in unstructured conversation time to help practice. He's super fun and engaging, and is always able to answer my nitpicky grammar rule questions and give helpful examples. Highly recommended!!
