About Rihangwele

Hi! I’m a university student who is passionate about learning and helping others reach their full potential. I completed Afrikaans First Additional Language through to matric, achieving a distinction, and I would love to use my knowledge to help other learners grow in confidence and improve their results.

I’m interested in tutoring because I believe that every learner deserves the opportunity to understand their schoolwork and feel confident in their abilities. I enjoy the idea of helping students work through challenging topics, discover what works best for them, and realise that they are capable of more than they think.

As a tutor, I hope to create a supportive and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace. Seeing a student become more confident and make progress would be one of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me.

English

Having completed Afrikaans First Additional Language through to matric and achieved a distinction, I understand the importance of building a strong foundation in the language.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, patient and easy to understand. I believe that learning a language becomes much easier when you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes along the way. I aim to break down challenging concepts into simple explanations and use examples and practice activities to help learners improve their understanding.

I can assist with grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, language structures, transactional and essay writing, literature where applicable, and exam preparation. I also aim to adapt my lessons to each learner’s needs, pace and areas of difficulty.

My goal is to help learners improve their marks, develop their Afrikaans skills and gain the confidence to approach their assessments feeling prepared and capable.
