About Inmaculada
Mi nombre es Inma Andrades. Me gradué en Filología Hispánica en la Universidad de Sevilla (España), lugar donde nací. Trabajé durante algunos años como tutora privada en España de asignaturas tales como Lengua Castellana y Literatura, Inglés, técnicas de estudio, entre otras (presencialmente y online) hasta que me vine a vivir a mi ciudad actual, Dublín (Irlanda).
Aquí descubrí que mi lengua nativa me ofrecía una poderosa oportunidad de desarrollarme como profesora de español, por ello me formé como docente de ELE (Español como segunda lengua extranjera) por la Universidad online Spanish Courses Miguel de Unamuno (Salamanca), homologada y certificada por el Instituto Cervantes. Esto me dio la oportunidad de abrirme puertas en colegios irlandeses. Actualmente combino la enseñanza del español con la educación infantil.
My name is Inma Andrades. I graduated in Hispanic Philology at the University of Seville (Spain), where I was born. I worked for a few years as a private tutor in Spain for subjects such as Spanish Language and Literature, English, study techniques, and others until I came to my current city, Dublin (Ireland).
Here in Dublin I found out that my native language offered me a powerful opportunity to develop as a Spanish teacher, that is why I trained as a Spanish teacher at the online University Spanish Courses Miguel de Unamuno (Salamanca), approved and certified by the Cervantes Institute. This gave me the opportunity to work in Irish schools. Currently I combine teaching Spanish with early years education.

Fiel creyente de que, para aprender un nuevo idioma, lo más importante es mantener a tus alumnos despiertos y activos con la materia, por ello siempre soy partidaria de enfocar mis clases hacia la gamificación (siempre teniendo en cuenta la edad y nivel del alumnado) sin olvidarnos de sentar previamente las bases fonéticas, gramaticales y léxicas. Como profesora y alumna de un idioma -nunca dejamos de ser alumnos, estamos en constante aprendizaje- en un país extranjero, considero esencial dejar a un lado la inseguridad; la confianza en ti mismo es tu herramienta para bucear entre nuevas palabras y fonemas, por ello el comunicarnos en español desde la primera clase va a ser, cuanto menos, una ventaja, te demostraré y te demostrarás a ti mismo cómo estás evolucionando.
I am a firm believer that, in order to learn a new language, the most important thing is to keep your students awake and active with the subject, so I always focus my classes on gamification always considering the age and level of the students as well as the phonetic, grammatical and lexical bases. As a teacher and student of a language (because we never stop being students, we are constantly learning) in a foreign country, I consider it essential to put insecurity aside; self-confidence is your tool to dive into new words and phonemes, so communicating in Spanish language from the first class will be an advantage: I will show you and you will show yourself how you are improving.
