About Olivia
I've worked with a handful of beginning Italian students over the past two years while focusing on teaching music (my other great passion). I am excited to take on my Italian teaching practice in earnest, sharing my knowledge and love of Italian culture.

I moved to Lugano, Switzerland when I was 15 and began studying Italian and learning to speak with locals. As a student at New York University, I focused my studies on Italian Language, Literature, and Culture before spending three months working on farms throughout the Italian countryside, where I also worked as a translator. I think language learning should be fun, engaging and connected to real world interests. I like to teach language through teaching about culture (food, film, literature etc.).
