About SHERYL
Hi, I am a 34-year-old Filipino-Australian who lives in Toowoomba with my husband and two kids. Despite moving to Australia, I am still a proud Filipino. I came from Iligan City, a progressive city in northern Mindanao. From high school to college, I studied on the MSU-IIT campus, which is one of the top universities in the whole Philippines.

I will only be teaching for half an hour, but in that short time, I will be covering useful phrases and words for practical use of the language. I graduated from MSU-IIT, in Iligan City with a Bachelor's degree in English. One of the few jobs I took before I came to Australia was teaching English online to Japanese students. However, I choose to teach Filipino this time to cater to people who want to learn the language. It's also my way of sharing my culture.
