About Anton
I've been using a Mac as my main machine since 2011. Mostly this is for work, business & software development, and encompasses technical writing, project management, business software implementation and software development.
As well as that, in 15 years of Mac usage I've come to understand the operating system on the surface (user interface, system setup) and also beneath (terminal administration, scripting & automations, MacOS development).
If you need an introduction to MacOS for your work or business activity, I can help you to feel more comfortable if you are making the switch from Windows, and we can get your Mac setup for all your work & software.
Likewise if you are a few years down the line but feel you never really 'grokked' MacOS.
If you are upgrading from an older Mac, I can help you to perform the upgrade and bring all your old apps & data over to your fresh new Mac.
Troubleshooting hardware, software and OS issues is also offered.
Beyond that you may wish to learn how to automate tasks on your Mac; the Mac has some interesting built-in tools to help you with this.
Further still, if you wish to get into software development on the Mac, I can guide you setting up your Mac for development, and may be able to help you with your programming language / development environment of choice.

Use these Mac-only lessons (No iOS/iPadOS at this time) for:

• Setting up your Mac for Work/Business
• Setting up your Mac for Development
• Improving Mac performance (esp. older Macs)
• Speed up tasks & Workflows (scripting & automation)
• Advice on buying a new Mac
• Excel VBA on a Mac (it's different!)
We will use the free 30-minute lesson as diagnosis to find out your specific requirement or issue, and booked, paid-for lessons to target solutions to those needs.
For clarification: I do prefer to work with those who are/will be using their Mac in a Work or Business setting (I won't be able to help you with Photoshop, iMovie, Garageband etc.).
The exception might be those learning to code on their Mac (for whatever purpose).
