About Yusra
I have tutored multiple students over my past four years tutoring and, I always aspire to have a positive relationship with my students and I’m always willing to help even outside of class.
I also run revision sessions for my GCSE students to help them prepare closer to the time.
I am a second-year speech and language therapy student, and I also do a module in English and am working towards a master's in English literature.
I have always had a strong passion for English literature and language which is partly why I chose speech and language therapy as it combines some of my favourite aspects of both English and other subjects.
I got into tutoring as I wanted to help other English students who struggle or want to do better achieve the best possible grades and gain their confidence. As someone who went through that struggle when doing their GCSEs I understand how difficult it can be to navigate that alone.

My lessons are typically one hour to one hour and a half long. I typically teach GCSE Edexcel, AQA and IGCSE Edexcel.
I have been tutoring for four years now and have had many students from all levels.
My lessons revolve around my students and their troubles.
I focus on helping them build their confidence, sparking a passion in English literature and language. And overall working at their pace towards their goals.
I find it important to build a relationship with my students and make them feel comfortable and welcomed. And I’m always more than happy to assist and give extra resources and tips.
