About Srividya

I've passionately been teaching Mandarin Chinese to young language enthusiasts for more than 2 years. What started off as a fascination to learn new languages escalated to completion of HSK3 and HSKK(Chinese exams conducted by the Ministry of Education of the Chinese Govt.)
Imparting values has always been my aim, and this drove me to teach Mandarin.
I want to impart the same enriching journey of learning Mandarin that I experienced, to my students.

About the lesson

I believe that the student will excel in learning a language if there is a conducive environment. Hence my sessions have a lot of activities and discussions. At the end of each session there is a Role-play conducted by the students that covers the topics learnt for that day. I don't use grammar books as many students get disinterested rather I encourage the students to come up with activities on the basics of the points learnt. That way, the student is engaged and remembers the information in the long run too.
Flashcards and PPTs are used for better recall of Chinese Characters and words.

She’s quite the talent when it comes to knowledge as well as the ability to teach another, she’s keen and considerate with each and everyone of her students and never gets biased or looser her temper, she always finds a way to keep both the pupil and herself calm and resorts always to the best solutions to most problems, I have very good experience learning from her and her response for every query even after classes were done was quite appreciable, would refer her to anyone who’s serious about getting trained or educated by her.
