About Aadila
Hello! I'm Aadila, a native of South Africa. I have had the incredible opportunity of living in Mainland China for 4 years (between 2018-2024) during which time I immersed myself in the beauty of Chinese culture, history, and language. While in China and alongside my major program, I took university courses in Mandarin, learning how to read, write, and speak and passed the HSK 4 exam. I have participated in poetry and speech contests (university and college level) and graduation ceremonies. Evening language corner activities and teaching junior students are fond memories of mine. I am passionate about languages and traveling and from my own experience I can confidently say that learning the language spoken by the people contributes greatly to the overall understanding of the environment. As previously mentioned, classes will be tailored according to individual needs but will generally cover the pinyin, tones, characters, vocabulary, and grammar. If you have no previous experience with Mandarin, rest assured, I can help you in an organized and enjoyable way.
