About Harper
I’m a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting, where voice was my primary instrument. My teaching style bridges traditional vocal training with today’s modern music tools. I teach students how to use DAWs, vocal processors, and studio microphones confidently. Lessons often include practice with vocal looping, creating harmonies, and designing layered arrangements. I enjoy working across styles like R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian. Students not only strengthen their technique but also learn to connect meaningfully with lyrics. Tone shaping and phrasing are at the heart of my teaching approach. I provide personalised guidance for hobbyists who want to grow and recording artists preparing for their careers. Lessons are creative, supportive, and goal-focused. I believe singers thrive when technique and expression come together. My method also emphasises adaptability, preparing students for both studio and stage. Singing is more than sound—it’s about telling your story. I’d love to help you share that story through singing and studio creativity.

Ensemble singing is about creating harmony as a team, and my approach reflects that. I focus on choral singing, sight-reading for choirs, vocal blending, and part-singing. Lessons are structured to develop both individual confidence and group awareness. I help singers train their ears to blend seamlessly into an ensemble. I’m very good with The Orchestra Member and The Crossover Artist, supporting their ability to perform across styles. My method emphasises clear diction, controlled breath, and balanced tone. Students also practise sight-reading together to handle new pieces effectively. I use exercises that challenge rhythm and harmony while keeping lessons fun. Collaboration is central to my teaching. Every singer learns to take responsibility for their part while supporting others. My lessons aim to make rehearsals smoother and performances more unified. You’ll gain the skills to step into any choir with confidence. Becoming a valuable choir member is not just about voice—it’s about connection.
