About Salome
Hi, I’m a student at the University of St Andrews with experience studying in both Germany and the UK. Having achieved top results myself - including Highers and A levels in German - I know exactly what it takes to secure an A grade. What you’ll get with me: • Tailored lessons for grammar, vocabulary & exam prep • Strategies to build confidence in speaking • A supportive, motivating environment where learning feels rewarding I am also happy to correct your written work and give you detailed feedback outside our tutor class. Whether you want to boost your grades, improve fluency, or simply enjoy learning German, I’d be delighted to guide you on your journey. Let’s set clear goals and achieve them together! If you have any questions or would like to book a free trial lesson, please get in touch - I’d love to hear from you! Bis bald Salome

My tutoring approach is all about personalisation and engagement. I tailor each lesson to your specific needs, whether that’s mastering grammar, expanding vocabulary, preparing for exams, or building confidence in speaking. I incorporate a variety of techniques, including interactive exercises, real-life conversation practice, and regular feedback to ensure steady progress. Each lesson typically lasts 45-60 minutes, allowing us to dive deep into the material without feeling rushed. I hold a high school degree from Germany and the UK, and I’m currently studying at the University of St Andrews. My experience as a tutor includes helping students at various levels, from beginners to advanced, and I’m passionate about making German accessible and fun! My lessons are perfect for anyone looking to boost their grades, improve fluency, or simply gain a deeper appreciation of the language.
