About Léon
Hello and welcome! I'm delighted to introduce myself as your dedicated instructor for courses in Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Immunology. With a strong foundation in these fields and a fervour for teaching, I am thrilled to embark on this educational journey with you.
My academic journey has led me to a graduate student position within the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary, where I am pursuing a Master's degree in Immunology.
My experiences as a voluntary Teaching Assistant during my undergraduate years, guiding students through courses spanning Cellular and Molecular Biology, Microbiology, and Clinical Immunology, have honed these essential attributes. They have also instilled in me the significance of maintaining impeccable organizational, verbal, and written communication skills—vital attributes for success in this field. My experiences as a mentor and educator have deepened my commitment to guiding aspiring students towards academic excellence and instilled in me the unique sense of satisfaction that comes from being part of their journey.
