About Shane
Shane Barker enjoys a rich and varied career as soloist, chamber musician, orchestral violist and educator in the Greater New York area. He has performed across much of the United States and Europe, and has held faculty positions at Muhlenberg and Lafayette Colleges, Temple Music Prep, Moravian Academy and the Connecticut School of Music.

Passionate about working with students of all backgrounds, he helps his students find their own voice by building technique and cultivating curiosity. Every student is unique and instruction is tailored to a student's goals and tastes.
