About Daniella
I have recently completed my Master's in scientific research specialising in cancer studies and experimental medicine and therapeutics at Newcastle University. I now work for a pharmaceutical company in Newcastle, helping new drugs to be accepted into the NHS. I previously received a BSc in Chemistry with Biomedicine degree from King's College London. I received 3 A's in chemistry, maths and biology A-levels and A*-A's in all GCSEs. I am very passionate about teaching and have undertaken many teaching placements as well as working for Kumon, a maths and English tutoring company. I have worked with a variety of ages and so feel comfortable tutoring any age group. In terms of teaching style, I believe it is important to be flexible and adjust to the preferred style of the student; however, I use a lot of diagrams and videos to illustrate explanations more clearly. I am patient, friendly and understanding, which I feel are key attributes for a successful tutor to succeed in getting the best results out of students.
