About Akanksha
Hello, I am Akanksha, a MA student from King's College London in English Literature. I have done my graduation in English Literature from India, and by now if you haven't guessed already, I love reading literature. Bengali happens to be my native tongue while English is the most natural to me, therefore I love teaching these languages to anyone who takes a keen interest in reading or learning languages. I have been a tutor to underprivileged children in an orphanage, and have experience in teaching of 3 years. I intend to culminate the interest of a language in my students, thus encouraging them to be avid readers, which will help them build an opinion, and develop their personality in the long run.

I have taught underprivileged children for 3 years in India, while I was studying in undergraduate, and therefore I am efficient in patiently training students in a new language. I have always been an avid reader and it is my primary goal to teach a student how to read into a text rather than simply read strings of words, and that way, build an opinion. I am patient, friendly, and don't burden my students with a lot of homework. Depending on the student's level, I will suggest the number of classes in a week, (maximum 2 for absolute beginners) and if the student has any doubt or query, I will share my WhatsApp number with them for them to contact me anytime.

Perfect! Akanksha makes everything as simple as possible so that you're not overwhelmed by any of the words or sentences. She also helps with pronunciation by going over words multiple times until you're confident with them, as well as writing them in the chat so that you can hear and see the words. She's a very patient and helpful tutor.
