About Lois
I have a B.S. in Mathematics and Child Development from Tufts University. I also have a M.A. in Math Education and am a certified (and practicing) educator in the state of Massachusetts. I am currently a math specialist and work to support my school's most vulnerable learners in reaching their mathematical potential.

I am an experienced math educator with expertise in supporting struggling learners. I believe that everyone is a "math person" and foster a strong sense of math identity simultaneously while facilitating skill development! I meet students where they are mathematically and work with them to fill in foundational gaps as well as meet their current grade level needs. I have deep curricular knowledge stemming from a strong understanding of the building blocks of mathematical reasoning to applications in AP Calculus. I am available to tutor any grade level K-12 and have experience working with any math needs, whether it be intervention, enrichment, or just reassurance that they are on the right track!
