About Ross
After doing a project teaching as part of my degree I have gone on to teach pupils abroad in Asia. I am now starting to provide lessons again here in Scotland.
I went through the (now old) standard grades and highers at school but If you have a goal in mind for the pupil to pass certain exams I am happy to look into other cirriculums. I use a traffic light system with regards to using past papers. A method that really helps a pupil get in the best shape possible for exams.

Hi there, I have an BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow and got top marks in mathematics all the way through School. I didn't start out being good at maths it was something I struggled with and learned how to be good at through practice.
I can now help pupils to do the same, by developing a pupils problem solving and giving them the means to find knowledge they don't have themselves. This way the pupil develops confidence in doing the work themselves and there is less and less reliance on a tutor for help.
I have a couple of rules:
I don't do the homework for the pupil.
A quiet space needs to be available for tutoring.
