About Meera
My fascination with mathematics began with an early interest in patterns, problem-solving, and logical reasoning. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, gaining expertise in algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving techniques. Over 8 years, I have taught students across levels, from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, developing both confidence and analytical thinking. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that motivates exploration and critical thinking. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and learning style. Beginners strengthen arithmetic, number sense, and confidence through guided exercises. Intermediate learners develop multi-step reasoning, applied algebra, and geometric problem-solving. Advanced learners tackle SAT-style questions, complex algebra, and coordinate geometry. I emphasize curiosity, persistence, and independent thinking in every lesson. Outside the classroom, I explore real-world mathematical applications, problem-solving strategies, and exam preparation techniques to enhance lessons. Seeing students develop mastery, confidence, and enthusiasm for mathematics is deeply rewarding. My aim is to equip learners with the skills and mindset to approach mathematical challenges creatively, logically, and confidently.
