About Leo
My passion for mathematics began with fascination for numerical patterns, logical structures, and the clarity that mathematical reasoning brings to solving complex problems naturally and efficiently. This interest encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and dedicate myself to academic teaching. During the past 8 years, I have guided students through mathematical learning using patient teaching and supportive instruction. I enjoy simplifying difficult concepts into manageable lessons that learners can understand comfortably and confidently. Watching students improve their confidence in mathematical problem solving continues motivating me as an educator. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and encouragement instead of pressure-based learning. I believe students improve best when they feel supported and comfortable asking questions openly.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with school students, university learners, and advanced students preparing for examinations and academic studies. These experiences helped me understand the importance of adapting lessons according to different learning styles and academic goals. I use practical examples, guided calculations, visual methods, and structured exercises to help students strengthen conceptual understanding steadily. I also encourage learners to think independently and build confidence through regular mathematical practice. Many students appreciate my calm and approachable teaching style because it helps them remain motivated during challenging topics.
