About Harshad
Hi, I’m Harshad, a B.Sc. Mathematics student with a minor in Education at Azim Premji University. I have experience teaching Mathematics to school students, including Classes 9 and 10, and I recently gained teaching experience at TIF.
I believe that Mathematics becomes easier when students understand the ideas behind the methods rather than simply memorizing formulas. My classes are patient, interactive, and personalized to each student’s learning needs.
I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and develop confidence. Through guided problem-solving, simple explanations, and regular practice, I help students build a stronger foundation in Mathematics.
I look forward to working with students who want to understand Mathematics better, improve their problem-solving skills, and become more confident learners.

I’m Harshad, a B.Sc. Mathematics student with a minor in Education at Azim Premji University. I teach Mathematics to students from Classes 5–10.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas or procedures. I use interactive discussions, problem-solving, guiding questions, and hints to help students develop their own reasoning. I encourage students to explain their thinking and ask questions freely.
A typical class begins with a short discussion to understand the student’s existing knowledge, followed by concept building and worked examples. We then solve problems together, gradually moving towards independent problem-solving. I also identify areas where the student is struggling and adapt the pace and level of difficulty accordingly.
As a teacher, I am patient and approachable. I focus on explaining difficult mathematical ideas in simple ways and building confidence through regular practice and encouragement. My classes are intended primarily for school students in Classes 5–10 who want to strengthen their mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and confidence.
