About Roban
I am a Mathematics student at Exeter University with a deep passion for teaching mathematics to all levels. I believe mathematics to be a subject in which anyone can excel, and that all that's required for this is the proper guidance and explanation. Many teachers and schools fail to outline the true beauty and intuitiveness present in mathematics, and instead present maths as a bland subject which you can't wait to get out of. With my tutoring I aim to show that this isn't the case, and that no matter how hard you may find maths, there is always a way to make it easier. Especially with the right explanation.

I believe mathematics to be a skill, and training this skill to become intuitive to the individual is my priority. I am able to teach all school levels up to and including A-Level further maths. Lessons typically last 45 minutes - 1 hour. My teaching methodology follows as; • Identifying a student's strengths and weaknesses in given areas • Building an intuitive understanding on these weaknesses with well thought-out explanations from multiple angles • Putting this new perspective and understanding of content to the test with practice problems and detailed walkthroughs And finally, •To ensure the student feels progress, and is able to apply their newfound understanding to achieve the outcome they truly deserve, be it grades or just general understanding of the subject.
