About Lillian
My passion for mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, logic, and problem-solving, which led me to pursue a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics and an M.Sc in Industrial Mathematics. Over the past 11 years, I have worked with students across academic levels, guiding them to develop conceptual clarity, problem-solving skills, and analytical reasoning. My focus is on creating lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s strengths and challenges.
I emphasize a teaching approach that integrates structured explanations, visual aids, interactive exercises, and real-world examples. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore alternative methods, and develop independent problem-solving strategies. Each lesson is designed to strengthen reasoning, analytical thinking, and intellectual curiosity while maintaining a supportive and motivating environment.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with contemporary mathematical research, applications in industry, and problem-solving challenges, which enrich my lessons with practical insight and relevance. Witnessing learners progress from confusion to clarity, gaining both skill and confidence, is deeply fulfilling. Intermediate learners advance to functions, derivatives, probability, and applied problems, strengthening reasoning and analytical skills.
