About Zachariah
I have been a private tutor for just over three years now, teaching children aged 5 to 18 in the UK, Thailand and Hong Kong.
I recognise the importance behind creating a comfortable and enriching learning environment and I hope to instil my students with the peace of mind I wish I had going into my exams many years ago.
My own academic journey and achievements have allowed me to to meet the needs of my pupils and appreciate the barriers to learning many face in a classroom setting.
My sessions are highly specific to the strengths and weaknesses of each student. I start all students off with a baseline test aimed at their current age in their given subject. From this, we prioritise filling the gaps in their knowledge and consolidate our learning with exam questions. With this approach, I can ensure the understanding of my pupils and develop their exam technique simultaneously.
With my tutorage, I hope to kindle the interest of my students and provide them with the confidence needed to secure the top marks in their exams.
