About Mark
I'm currently studying Management Science and Information Systems Studies at Trinity College Dublin, and enjoy teaching grinds as a rewarding way to fund my studies. I have always liked tutoring others and was both a Prefect and Peer Mentor in school.
I particularly enjoying teaching Maths because I find it's a subject that students often have more potential in than they realize, and are regularly amazed at the progress they can make in a short space of time when they learn how to properly analyse questions and recognise their patterns.

I take a practical, problem-solving approach to teaching that focuses on empowering and encouraging students to work through questions instead of lecturing and overloading them with notes. This helps students stay engaged and feel a real sense of achievement and progress throughout each lesson. By highlighting commonly recurring features, I give students the necessary skills to tackle unseen exam papers, eliminating the need to rote learn every possible way a question can be asked.
A typical lesson lasts 45 minutes, and is normally delivered over zoom, with flexibility to suit each student's schedule and needs. I primarily offer lessons to secondary school students of all levels and years but am open to enquiries for primary school students or first year undergraduates.
