About Hafsah
Hi, I’m Hafsah, I’m 23, and I’m currently in my final year of studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Manchester. I’ve been tutoring Maths for six years now so I would describe myself as fairly experienced. I’ve dealt with students of all ages and of all different ability levels. I would describe my teaching style as welcoming and relaxed. I always try to make my students as comfortable as possible when I’m teaching, as I think it helps them to learn better .I will always get my student to do as much of the work as possible rather than just telling them the answer. All of my previous students have enjoyed learning with me, and I hope that my future students will too!

As a tutor, I try to encourage my students to feel more comfortable in their own abilities. I like to create a friendly, welcoming space where the student feels free to make mistakes in the pursuit of learning.
I have been a tutor for six years, and I have taught all ages--from seven up to twenty.
A typical lesson will be an hour long. I normally either go through a specific topic, or I do exam preparation with you.
