About Aaron
In brief, I've been a mechanical engineer for about 30 years, operating first in my hometown of St. Paul, MN, and now I operate in the San Francisco Bay Area. I consider myself a generalist, and tend to take on projects I haven't worked on before. I've designed parts and assemblies for consumer and industrial electronics, medical devices, mechanical devices for the home, and a wider variety of others.
Besides the technical aspects of my work, each job I've ever had includes a certain amount of team or departmental leadership, project management, and cross-functional teamwork. I enjoy working to support my team so we can all do better at our jobs, and find the experience together even more fulfilling.

Hi, I'm Aaron, and as a mechanical engineer, serial hobbyist, and owner of old homes for most of my life, I'm not afraid to take on new problems, and work them until we have a solution. I have a mind for unravelling mathematical and geometrical problems, and enjoy sharing my expertise to help enlighten and boost confidence in others.
Consider me a companion for working through any class work in algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, or calculus. I'm happy to work with people of all ages and place in life. Everyone is welcome in my sessions, where I strive to make it a safe, comfortable place for working together.
