About Isabelle
Hello! I’m Izzy, a first-year medical student with a passion for Maths. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths (with 100% in two papers), a Grade 9 in GCSE Further Maths, an A* in A-level Maths, and a B in A-level Further Maths. I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand Maths, and throughout sixth form I tutored a Year 11 student for their GCSE, as well as supporting friends and younger students. I want to teach because I know how challenging Maths can feel at times, and I’m passionate about making it accessible, rewarding, and even enjoyable. My approach is friendly, patient, and tailored to each student. Helping students build their confidence, overcome their struggles, and achieve their best is what excites me the most.

I’m an enthusiastic and friendly tutor who believes in making maths enjoyable and approachable. I’m keen to help with any specific topics in maths, or we can work together to identify weaker topics and then strengthen your skills and understanding. I focus on building students’ confidence by explaining concepts clearly, working through examples together and providing plenty of practice questions. I appreciate the importance of ensuring students understand the ‘why’ behind methods, not just the ‘how’. I tailor my approach to each individual’s learning style, ensuring lessons are engaging, interactive, and effective in helping students reach their full potential.
