About Charu

About Charu I am a UK certified Jolly phonics and Jolly grammar teacher, trained in ECCED. Have worked with Orchids International School as a phonics teacher and have experience of 6+ years teaching Jolly phonics and grammar in private classes and online. I am currently working as a faculty at Phonicworld. I take batches from 4+ years onwards. I specialize in Phonics & Grammar. Have taught students based in India and across the globe including Australia, Singapore, Middle East & Europe. As a teacher, I feel children have potential to shine like a bright star and illuminate their environment.

About the lesson

In phonics, we teach the following depending on the level of the child and age as below:

42 letter sounds with stories, actions and jolly songs.
Blending

charu mam taught my 3.5 year kid to understand the basic of phonics... which was wonderful. her way of teaching and handling a small kid like her is really impressive. always cheerful and patience... thanks mam for teaching my kid in a friendly environment. within three months of time she started reading 3 to 4 letter words and recognising sound which helped her to easily understand the spelling in English.....

I would strongly recommend Charu Ma’am for her teaching concepts and developing reading interest in the kid. I enrolled my kid with her for phonics and within few months i saw a tremendous growth in him. Not only reading but his writing skills improved as well. Ma’am is very experienced and most importantly i have never seen so much patience in any other teacher
