About Jia Wei
I’m a Melbourne-based music producer and audio engineer with a Bachelor of Audio specializing in Audio Engineering. I’ve worked professionally across music production, recording, mixing and commercial audio, including projects for brands such as FILA, Braun Büffel, BONIA and Royal Sporting House.
My teaching style is practical, patient and tailored to each student. Rather than following a rigid syllabus, I focus on your goals and help you apply techniques directly to your own music. Whether you’re learning FL Studio for the first time or trying to improve your songwriting, vocal production or mixes, I’ll help you understand the process clearly and build confidence producing independently.
I take every student’s progress seriously and aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you can ask questions, experiment and develop your own sound.

My lessons are practical and project-based. I teach by working directly on your own songs, explaining techniques as we go and helping you understand not just what to do, but why it works.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and can cover production, songwriting, arrangement, recording, vocal production, mixing and finishing tracks in FL Studio.
I hold a Bachelor of Audio specialising in Audio Engineering and have professional experience as a music producer, artist and audio engineer, including commercial music work for established brands and collaborations with other artists.
My lessons are suited to beginners and intermediate producers, especially those who want to improve their sound, finish more music and become more confident producing independently.
