About Nanette
I am a Traditional Tantric Hatha Yoga teacher with over 15 years of personal practice and more than 600 hours of professional training in yoga, meditation, breathwork and somatic practices.
My approach combines traditional Hatha Yoga with modern somatic principles, creating classes that support nervous system regulation, mobility, relaxation and greater body awareness.
Whether you're completely new to yoga or returning after a break, my sessions are designed to be accessible, supportive and free from pressure or performance.
Classes may include mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, Yoga Nidra and restorative practices to help you slow down, reconnect and feel more at home in yourself.
I teach in Melbourne and also offer online sessions for students seeking a more personalized and grounded approach to yoga.

My classes are designed for people who are looking to slow down, reduce stress, improve mobility, and reconnect with themselves through a more mindful approach to yoga.
Drawing from over 15 years of personal practice and 600+ hours of training in Traditional Hatha Yoga, meditation, breathwork, Yin Yoga, and somatic practices, I offer lessons that are supportive, accessible, and tailored to your individual needs.
Unlike fast-paced fitness-based yoga classes, my approach focuses on awareness, breath, nervous system regulation, and sustainable movement. Each session may include gentle postures, mindful movement, breathing techniques, meditation, relaxation practices, and Yoga Nidra.
Whether you are completely new to yoga, returning after a break, navigating stress or burnout, or simply seeking a calmer and more grounded way to practise, lessons are adapted to your experience, goals, and physical abilities.
Sessions are available for beginners through to experienced practitioners and can be offered one-to-one or in small groups. My intention is to create a safe and welcoming space where you can build confidence, move with greater ease, and experience the benefits of yoga both on and off the mat.
