About Alexandros Chrisovalantis
My name is Alexandros, and I am a tutor with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Greek Studies and a Master of Applied Linguistics & TESOL. I have taught English as an additional language to migrants and refugees, and I also have been teaching Modern Greek in community schools and tutoring school students and adult learners, predominantly VCE students, for over 12 years.
For me, teaching Greek language OR the English language is about more than grammar and vocabulary — it’s about connection, confidence, and culture. I believe learning Greek OR English should be enjoyable and meaningful, whether you’re a high school or VCE student aiming for top results, or an adult learner wanting to reconnect with your Greek heritage or wanting to learn the English language. Every student is different. That’s why I design tailored lessons to fit your level, goals, and learning style. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and supportive — helping you feel confident in using Greek in real life.
