About Phoebe
I am a SEND Teaching Assistant in a secondary school in Liverpool. In my role I deliver reading and writing sessions for pupils with learning difficulties, as well as social communication sessions. I will be commencing my teacher training in September in Spanish and French, and I have just completed a subject knowledge enhancement for French which involved meticulous lesson planning and learning teaching strategies.
If you are feeling anxious about learning or making progress, I am available to reassure and help guide you onto the right path. A tutor's role should always be to inspire confidence, and my sessions are relaxed and provide plenty of opportunity for you to practise your language skills and develop fluency.

I am an approachable and friendly individual. I believe that effective learning comes from developing confidence in oneself, and therefore I am understanding and encouraging towards my pupils to ensure that they can build their confidence and go on to become excellent linguists.
I can do any length of lesson, depending on your schedule. Tutoring sessions for GCSE/A-level students tend to last one hour, but can be shorter or longer.
I have a 2:1 degree in modern languages (Spanish and Italian) and have been working as a SEND TA in a secondary school in Liverpool for 3 years now (prior to this I was working in secondary schools in Wales for a year). I will be commencing my teacher training in September for Spanish and French.
