About Aurelia
I was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was 11. The typical classroom approach to learning left me believing I was stupid and incapable. Luckily I had some amazing teachers who took the time to understand my individual learning needs and approached my learning in a different way. The reason I want to teach is to help students who may feel stupid or incapable realise that, with a different approach, they can achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Italian
As a dyslexic student I find the traditional class room approach to language learning antiquated, restrictive and discouraging. It wasn’t until I did my undergraduate degree that I realised there were other ways to learn a language. With me students will approach language learning in a multi sensory way, with homework often being to watch a film or listen to music in Italian. Lessons can be anywhere from 45mins to 90 to suit each students needs. I have previously tutored in English, maths and French successfully with my students achieving high grades at their chosen level.
