Ek is oorspronklik van Nederland en het as jong uitruil student in Stellenbosch gearriveer. Ek weet uit eie ervaring hoe moeilik hierdie eenvoudig voorkomende taal kan wees! Oor die jare, soos my kennis en aanvoeling van die taal gegroei het, het my passie vir die taal ook toegeneem. Kom saam met my op 'n avontuur deur die taal en sien hoe dit jou lewe kan geur en kleur gee. Ek is lief vir taal - die skryf en lees daarvan. Ek is mal oor diere en spandeer baie tyd in die natuur. Ek begin my dag gewoonlik met yoga en meditasie.

Ek is volledig tweetalig in Afrikaans en Engels. Ek het 'n BA graad in Afrikaans / Nederlands en 'n Meestersgraad in Sielkunde.
Ek het baie jare ondervinding in die onderrig van Afrikaans op alle vlakke met studente van oor die hele wêreld. Afrikaans is soveel meer as net grammatika en woorde leer. Perfect! Afrikaans has recently been introduced at Maddys school and she was very nervous but now with the help of her teacher she is loving it. Marjolein is patient amd though and works to Maddys speed which is great for a child who is so unfamiliar with a language. Thank you to Marjolein for making her feel so settled so quickly

Marjolein is an exceptional tutor, highly professional and very experienced. She adapts her teaching method and the lesson content in accordance with her students' needs and progress. Marjolein has been teaching me Afrikaans for just over a month so I can communicate better with my family-in-law and help bring up my son bilingual.
