My teaching method is very simple. Music teachers are the passionate people who teach children and adults to sing or play instruments. ... Responsible for teaching people instrumental techniques, scales, sight reading and music theory, the majority of music teachers help pupils to prepare for music examinations, auditions and live performances.
Music teachers will need to possess the following skills:
In-depth musical knowledge.
Enthusiasm.
Patience.
Good communication skills.
Good teaching skills.
Good organisational skills.
Flexibility.
Motivational skills
A music teacher is responsible for sharing music and musical knowledge with his or her students. In lower grades, this may simply mean singing on key, keeping tempo and learning new songs, but older grades may mean teaching range, how to play an instrument, or helping prepare for college-level musical pieces.
