About Violet
I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and hold an MSc in Organic Chemistry. My teaching extends beyond traditional areas into forensic chemistry and toxicology. Students discover how chemistry is used to analyze evidence and support investigations. I cover drug analysis, trace evidence, poisons, and analytical methods that connect theory with real-world application. Each lesson is designed to show how scientific tools support justice and public safety. I work with students who are pursuing careers in forensic science, law, and security services. My style is structured yet flexible, ensuring that learners gain both confidence and clarity. The goal is always to bring complex chemistry concepts into practical focus. Through case studies and applied learning, students see how chemistry shapes real investigations. My teaching style in chemistry is thoughtful and patient, always grounded in the mathematical principles that hold the subject together. I guide students through physical chemistry, quantum mechanics in chemistry, thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics with clarity. These areas often feel abstract, but with the right explanations, they become approachable.
I bring creativity into lessons, drawing from both hands-on explorations and imaginative ideas to keep concepts alive. Sometimes this means looking at chemistry through a science fiction lens, showing how complex theories can expand imagination. Students are encouraged to think critically and explore connections beyond memorization.
I reflect on each student’s needs and adapt the pace accordingly. If someone feels overwhelmed, I break down ideas into smaller, digestible steps. Learning chemistry should never be a race—it should be an exploration of understanding.
In every session, I aim to support learners in finding confidence and calm while mastering difficult topics. By discovering chemistry at its core, they not only grow in knowledge but also in self-belief.
