About Laila
My name is Laila and I am fascinated by the way we learn and the barriers that often get in the way of success. I believe education is more than memorising facts, it is also about building the confidence to tackle new challenges.
I would like to teach because I love the challenge of finding solutions to unlock students' potentials. Whether it is helping children overcome their anxiety about maths and English, or supporting an international student in finding their voice in a new language. My approach in doing so will always be patient, evidence based, and tailored to each individual.

I don’t believe in worksheets/text books, I want to make my sessions as fun and engaging as possible.
For 6-11 year olds this means turning fractions into “code breaking missions”. For international students it means immersive role plays mimicking real-life English culture. I focus on building growth so that every mistake becomes a step towards reaching your goal.
Sessions include multiple activities, to help students achieve their aims every session.
